Jarret Keene was born in 1973. The son of a firefighter, Keene is the author of the poetry collection Monster Fashion and the rock-band bio The Killers: Destiny Is Calling Me, and the editor of several books, including The Underground Guide to Las Vegas, Neon Crush, and Las Vegas Noir.
