Terry Tempest Williams, perhaps the leading author of desert ecology prose, visits Las Vegas in two events.  First, on Jan. 24 at 7:00 p.m., she will read at the Historic 5th Street School from her new book Erosion.  On Jan. 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Adelson Educational Campus she will moderate a screening of the film Wrenched, a story of the Earth First environmental movement inspired by the writings of Edward Abbey.  Both events are brought to us courtesy of the Jewish Film Festival.
