Since the age of three, Joie Cook has spent most of her life.
She has held several positions as a college student, cocktail waitress, blues singer, rock musician, wife (several times) and mother (once).
She’s a well-known firebrand of San Francisco’s poetry haunts. Joie passed away in 2013.
